I disagree with you about gamestop. I think Gamestop 5 years from now will be a thriving business under the leadership of Ryan Cohen. They're gonna be selling high end items that fit their business model. Also, a good chunk of stores have been cut over the last few years which has led to Gamestop first year of profitability in 7 years. Also, Gamestop has $4 billion cash and no debt... unlike its competitors that have more debt than cash. Long Live Gamestop!!!

Went to dozens of Cleveland baseball games where the attendance was under 10,000. Talk about cavernous. Also saw the Rolling Stones there with probably 90,000 others. What a show. But the place was sorely outdated.

I feel lucky to live in Australia, where Kmart stores are still widely available. It's fascinating to see how different ownership can impact a brand's success. While Kmart has struggled in the usa, it's thriving in Australia, and we're fortunate to still have it as a retail option we have Kmart that are the big stores but we also have something called Kmart hub a smaller Kmart in a smaller store format

I saw the last Army-Navy game played at JFK/Municipal on 1 Dec 1979. It was a massive place where the fans sat on benches. Definitely a throw back to giant arenas with few amenities. Im happy I got to see it though.

Well worth the trip - some must see, in the city for buildings, Guardian, Penobscot, Fischer, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Main Library, David Stott, David Whitney, Book Cadillac, Book Tower, and don't get me started on the churches.
